Information Session - GOM Incidental Take Rule (ITR): Proactive Regulatory & Observational Program (GOM-PROP)
Event
Date(s)April 08, 2021(13:00)
Venue:Online
Webinar will be held on Thursday, April 8 at 2:00 EST/1:00 CST.

The Offshore Operators Committee (OOC), IAGC, API, and NOIA (joint-trades) will be hosting a second information session on Thursday, April 8 at 2:00 EST/1:00 CST to provide details and answer questions concerning the new joint-trades association Gulf of Mexico Proactive Regulatory & Observation Program (GOM-PROP). The program includes an industry-owned database to facilitate collection and quality control of Protected Species Observer (PSO) data; required industry-level annual reporting under the Incidental Take Rule (ITR) for geological & geophysical surveys in the GOM; and preparation of the petition for a subsequent ITR. The program is designed to meet the challenges of the new regulatory regime under the ITR and position industry more favorably in the future

The content will be similar to the webinar presented on March 2 but will offer additional opportunity for questions as well as perspectives from companies that have already elected to participate. Companies with operational interests in the GOM on any scale are encouraged to attend.

Registration information
Webinar registration is available from the IAGC Events Page or through the link HERE. Register with your company email address, as the webinar is open to industry only (no press/public/agency presence).

After receiving requests from industry for additional time to review the program and terms of participation, the joint-trades have extended the deadline for signing participation agreements to April 18, 2021.
